March 2024 - Life Update

Hello from my hometown in the West Midlands. I've been here for a few days before heading back to London tomorrow. Apart from visiting those United States across the Atlantic Ocean, it was a pretty quiet month. So a small update today.

🤓 What I've been doing

I spent ten days in NYC and loved it. It's difficult to describe, but there's something special about New York. The hustle and bustle, the scale of it. It's magical.
I tried the Apple Vision Pro. Holy hell it's the future of computing. From beginning to end of the demo, I was blown away. The immersive experience is breathtaking and you feel apart of every scene you're seeing. I was so close to purchasing it there and then.

👀 What I've been consuming

🎬 Blackberry, Matt Johnson - I love tech biopics. Blackberry tells the story of how Research In Motion grew exponentially and then collapsed by not innovating. It's a fast-paced and funny film, that does jump in time a bit quickly.
📺 The Simpsons, Matt Groening - The Simpsons is my favourite show ever. There are photos of me watching it as a baby on my dad's lap, and I'll always cherish this show. I'm going through a rewatch of the earlier seasons and it never ceases to amaze me how I still find it funny, despite having seen episodes at least ten times.
