Hello! It's now May and we're rapidly approaching the end of the first half of the year. Time really does fly. The end of this month is due to be a busy one.
🤓 What I've been doing
I learnt that I have hay fever, which I used to feel superior about not having. How the tables have turned.
Launching Nearly, we're gearing up for an App Store launch and executing on our user acquisition strategy. This is where it gets serious.
Continuing to improve my Swift skills. I'm using Swift and SwiftUI to develop Nearly on iOS and while it's a joy, I'm yet to scratch the surface. Point Free has been a godsend in my learning.
Reached a PB in overhead press. I've struggled with shoulder strength for a few years after injuring my shoulder, but I'm now at 50kg on the overhead press. Something I didn't think I'd be able to do a year ago.
📚 What I've been reading
I’ve not been reading any books this month, but this post by Mike Solana has been the best post I've read recently. He hits the nail on the head surrounding the Dylan Mulvaney 'controversy'.
🔮 What's coming up
Nearly launch - there are just a few features left to add until we've got a v1 to be proud about.
I’ll be heading to Cleveland, Ohio at the end of this month to celebrate Memorial Day weekend with friends. My first time in the Midwest and first opportunity to use Global Entry!
