October 2024 - Life Update

We're into the final few months of the year. Scary. I'm knuckling down this month and fighting with the App Store getting my new app submitted, they turned it down for bullshit reasons last week and just yesterday I resubmitted.

🤓 What I've been doing

I listened to a talk about the Advanced Research & Inventions Agency (ARIA). It's so cool. You go to ARIA with an idea that can have a portfolio of research centred around it and if ARIA agrees with you that it could lead to a breakthrough, they'll give you millions of pounds to fund the research.
Mid-September was spent organising and then implementing a pub crawl in Hackney. It turned out to be a limp. The first brewery we went to was too fun and it's pretty difficult to shepherd twenty people around Hackney.
I'm back doing again a couple of things I enjoy - quizzing and poker. Quizzing has already been successful, poker not so much.
